Metallica Live at The Hammersmith Odeon 1986

We’re pretty big Metallica fans, no denying it. So we were surprised to only now learn that they have a huge catalog of live shows available for download via The site is largely comprised of more recent shows from 2004 and up which are available to purchase. However there is also a decent selection of older recordings available for absolutely free. Just recently they released one of the last shows Metallica performed before the untimely death of their incredibly talented bassist, Cliff Burton. The show, recorded in London at the legendary Hammersmith Odeon, features all all of our favourites from “Kill ‘Em All”, “Ride the Lightening”, and “Master of Puppets.” All you have to do is signup for the site and you’ll be given access to high-quality downloads in MP3, FLAC, or ALAC formats.

You’re very welcome.
